“哈佛学子中国行”中美人文交流活动成功举办

2024年12月17日至21日，由教育部中外人文交流中心和华南理工大学联合主办的“哈佛学子中国行”中美人文交流活动成功举行。来自美国哈佛大学教育学院的11位师生，与华南理工大学师生开展中美教育比较研讨、乒乓球友谊赛、新年联欢、中华文化探访等人文交流活动，期间还参访了广州、深圳部分中小学以及当地高新技术企业，深入了解中国基础教育和科技发展现状，活动取得圆满成功。教育部中外人文交流中心主任于长学、华南理工大学副校长李卫青等出席活动并致辞。

2024年12月哈佛中国创新教育之旅-中美人文交流活动成功举办

组织这次交流是希望哈佛学生能够深入了解并体验中国社会和文化。通过人文交流活动，增进彼此了解，期待未来能够继续开展更多类似的活动，也希望哈佛同学能够把在中国的所见所闻，分享给更多的美国青年。中美学生代表作了分享发言，表示很高兴参加此次活动，不仅从中增进了彼此的了解和认知，还收获了友谊，促进了中美青年的交流与理解。

哈佛师生深度融入中国文化，亲历科技创新与教育魅力

在12月17日至21日期间，来自哈佛大学教育学院的11位师生开启了为期五天的“哈佛学子中国行”交流活动，深入华南理工大学及粤港澳大湾区的多个企业，亲身感受到中国的科技进步和文化底蕴。这项活动得到了华南理工大学和教育部中外人文交流中心的联合主办，目的是践行中美教育文化交流的原则，尤其是在增进青少年之间的相互理解与友谊方面。对此次交流活动的开展，无疑是响应了某种国家级倡议，即在未来五年内邀请5万名美国青少年来华学习交流。

The 2024 CIE Innovation Education Trek was an incredible trip and I highly recommend it to anyone. This was my first trip to China, and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The itinerary included a good blend of touring schools, companies with technology innovations in education, as well as experiencing cultural and historic sites. Besides the amazing cultural and food experiences, the tours at the various schools left a memorable impression on me. The interactions with students and faculty was extremely valuable and very engaging and really broadened my understanding of academic and student life in China.

Each part of the trek was remarkable in its own way. While I truly enjoyed the cultural sites, evening dinners, and the generous gifts we received throughout the journey, what stood out most was the quality time spent with my newfound friends. The companies we visited were very impressive, and it was fascinating to witness the innovation happening across the Greater Bay Area.
